主讲人简介:杰弗瑞·肖恩·雷曼，北京大学国际法学院创院院长、法学教授。曾任美国康奈尔大学校长、密西根大学法学院院长、法律及公共关系终身教授。获康奈尔大学数学学士学位，密歇根大学法学院J.D.学位。曾任美国法学院院长联合会主席、执业税务律师、美国联邦最高法院约翰·保罗·史蒂文斯大法官和美国第一巡回上诉法庭审判长Frank Coffin法官的书记官；目前兼任Infosys Technologies公司(NASDAQ:INFY)独立董事；Infosys Public Services董事长；Internet2公司董事长，Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars研究学者。他曾荣获北京大学荣誉博士、美国有色人种协进会颁发的国家平等公正奖。
About the Speaker: Jeffrey Sean Lehman is chancellor and founding dean of the Peking University School of Transnational Law, on leave from his position on the faculty of Cornell University. He has previously been president of Cornell University, dean of the University of Michigan Law School, a tenured professor of law and public policy, a practicing tax lawyer, a law clerk to Associate Justice John Paul Stevens, and a law clerk to Chief Judge Frank M. Coffin.
Jeffrey Sean Lehman currently serves as an independent director of Infosys Technologies (NASDAQ:INFY), chairman of the board of Infosys Public Services, chairman of the board of Internet2 (http://www.internet2.edu), and a senior scholar at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. He previously served as president of the American Law Deans Association. Lehman’s honors include an honorary doctorate from Peking University, honorary professorships at several other universities, and the National Equal Justice Award from the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Cornell University and advanced degrees in law and public policy from the University of Michigan.
