University Town Library of Shenzhen (Shenzhen Science & Technology Library) warmly welcomes and sincerely solicits friendly donations of books, manuscripts, and other types of literature and materials from faculty, students, alumni, social organizations, and individuals from all walks of life. Unless otherwise agreed upon beforehand by both parties, the ownership of donated materials accepted by the library or for which a donation agreement has been signed shall be fully transferred to University Town Library of Shenzhen (Shenzhen Science & Technology Library). The library will decide whether to include the donated materials in its collection based on their actual condition. For materials that do not meet the collection standards, the library has the right to dispose of them in an appropriate manner without further notice to the donor.

Donation Methods:
In-person Donation: Visit the Comprehensive Service Desk on the second floor or Room 436 of University Town Library of Shenzhen.
Mail Donation: Send to Resources Development Department, University Town Library of Shenzhen, Lishui Road, Taoyuan Street, Nanshan District, Shenzhen.
Bulk Donation: For local donors with a large number of materials to donate, please contact the library staff in advance by phone and provide a list of the donated books. After confirming the donation matters, the library can send staff to receive the donation on site.

Collection Standards for Donated Books:
1.The library has not yet collected, or has insufficient copies of, the material.
2.The material is basically in good condition.
3.The content is suitable for readers at the university level and above.
4.The content aligns with teaching and research scopes.
5.It is a formal publication or an informal publication with certain academic or historical value.
