First-time Use Guide for International Students

1.Library card is your campus card (PINGAN Bank Card).

2.Library ID : The number behind "卡号" on the back of your campus card.

The Initial Password: 8-digit date of your birth(YYYYMMDD). It is necessary to set another strong password for online login for the first time.

3. Following the Library WeChat Official Account,you can show your QR Code Library Card to borrow books on Self-Borrowing and Returning machine in the library.

MAX borrowing: 30 books.

Duration:one-month(Winter and Summer vacations will be postponed)

Renewal: once before overdue.

Late fees: ¥0.30/book/day(Up to ¥10/book)

4.Logging to My library or following the WeChat Official Account,you can reset your passwords, renew books, reserve books(some Chinese books), reserve Silence booths, etc. 

5.Connect to library Wi-Fi (LIB_UTSZ) by logging your Library ID and strong password.

6. Self-printing services are available by scanning WeChat code on the machines on the 2nd &3rd floor.

7. Computer area and foreign books are on the 3rd floor.

8.If you want to recommend uncollected foreign books，you can send mail to wenn@utszlib.edu.cn. 

9.Library Open Hours: Monday to Sunday: 7:30-22:00. 

Official public holidays and Winter Vacation: 9:30-17:30.

Closed on Chinese New Year Eve, First to Third Day of Spring Festival.
