Full-text delivery is a service that relies on the library's own collection of literature resources, as well as those of the member libraries of Shenzhen Document NetSZDNET, the resources of the National Science and Technology Library (NSTL), and the resources of the China Academic Humanities and Social Sciences Library (CASHL). It is designed to support the reasonable literature needs of library users for teaching, research, etc. Users can submit a full-text delivery request, and librarians will send the copies of the original documents to users via email, free of charge or with subsidies from the library, under the premise of respecting intellectual property rights.

Through Shenzhen Document NetSZDNET, users can conduct one-stop search for all physical and electronic resources of all cooperative libraries. Under the premise of complying with copyright regulations, users can apply for document delivery services for free. The full text of electronic documents will be sent to the user's email within 3 working days. Library staff will centrally process readers' document delivery applications through the Shenzhen Document NetSZDNET backend system. The original service of applying for document delivery directly via email or QQ was officially cancelled in October 2017.

Warm Tips

  1. Due to limited human resources, in order to ensure fair and reasonable utilization of the resources of the library, NSTL and CASHL by all readers and avoid waste of public resources, readers are expected to apply for less than 10 papers per document delivery.
  2. Readers are required to fill out the literature delivery application form completely to ensure prompt and efficient processing of the application. For multiple documents, one application form can be filled out with an attached list of documents, but clear bibliographic information (author, title, source, etc.) must be provided. (Note: In view of the extensive nature of patent downloads and the length of theses and standard documents, the above introduction does not include patents, theses and standard documents)
  3. After obtaining electronic documents through literature delivery, readers should abide by national laws, respect the labor of the original authors, and comply with the library's regulations, and must not infringe upon the copyright of the obtained electronic documents and the related civil rights of the copyright holders.

The library stipulates the usage of electronic documents obtained by legitimate users as follows:

1) The electronic documents provided by the library are for the personal use of the user for teaching, research, and cultural life.

2) It is not allowed to copy and disseminate the obtained electronic documents in any form or medium at will.

3) It is not allowed to provide the obtained electronic documents to others in any form of medium at will.

4) It is prohibited to use the obtained literature for profit-making purposes.

5) For those who violate the provisions and cause legal proceedings, the consequences shall be borne by the units or individuals who violate the provisions.
