The novelty search personnel and the entrustor will engage in in-depth and detailed exchanges regarding the technical key points and novelty points of the project. This will further clarify the novelty search purpose and specific requirements of the entrustor and allow the novelty search personnel to understand some specific details of the project in detail, making full preparations for the actual implementation of the project retrieval work.

Select the appropriate retrieval tools based on the project's professional characteristics and subject categories, formulate retrieval strategies, and implement the retrieval.

The novelty search report is a formal statement made in writing to the entrustor by a novelty search acceptance institution with novelty search business qualifications, in accordance with the requirements of the "Standards for Technology Novelty Search." It is based on the scientific and technological content provided by the entrustor that needs to be verified for novelty, through retrieval operations and literature comparative analysis. The novelty search report is an important indicator of the overall quality and level of novelty search work.

The novelty search acceptance institution will submit the novelty search report to the entrustor. If the entrustor has objections to the novelty conclusions in the report, they can submit relevant opinions and materials to the novelty search acceptance institution within one week of receiving the report. The novelty search acceptance institution will provide feedback on the review opinions within 3 working days. If there are no objections, the novelty search acceptance institution will hand over the novelty search report and related project materials to the entrustor.
