Shenzhen Science and Technology Library (Shenzhen University Town Library) boasts rich collection resources and seamless network access, providing robust bibliographic and information support for novelty search work. Besides various printed Chinese and foreign abstracts, books, and journals, it also offers extensive online database resources. Currently, there are 299 professional databases from home and abroad, covering the most frequently used Chinese and foreign language databases in novelty search work. The main Chinese databases include Wanfang Data Resource System, VIP Chinese Science and Technology Periodical Database, and CNKI (China National Knowledge Infrastructure) Academic Network Publishing Database; while the main foreign language databases include ProQuest Dialog, Science Citation Index (SCI), Derwent Innovations Index (DII), Engineering Index (EI), SciFinder Scholar, INSPEC (Information Services in Physics, Electronics, and Computer Science), Biological Abstracts (BP), and Cambridge Scientific Abstracts (CSA).
